U.S. Attorney Kenyon Brown Will Be the Host Emcee
(Mobile, AL — August 15, 2016) — The Mobile County NAACP Branch #5044 is hosting its first Image Awards event on Saturday, August 27, to honor those who advance the causes of civil and human rights for all citizens in our community.
Honorees include: Dr. Hannah Hart, Past President of the Mobile Alumnae Chapter Delta Sigma Theta, The Excelsior Band, and long-time State Representative James Buskey. Also, members of the branch will be recognized for their outstanding community work this year.

The gala awards ceremony is our major fundraising event for this year. Proceeds will allow us to effectively advocate for a just society using Books to better educate our community for success, Bucks to advance the cause of economic empowerment in the community, and the Ballot to elect officials who develop policies that positively address community concerns.
